Nurturing the Next Generation—Where Faith, Care, and Calling Shape the Future of Every Child
The Future Nurses Academy is a free, faith-driven program opening the door to nursing and health careers for students from 3rd grade through college. Rooted in Fayetteville, NC — where health challenges are real and nurses are needed — we are called to believe the answer starts with the children already here.
Every child in this community deserves to see their future in healthcare — and we are here to show them it is possible.
What the program does:
- Meets elementary students in their schools, building reading skills and health vocabulary side by side — because literacy and wellness grow together
- Introduces nursing and health careers to children as early as 3rd grade through hands-on, in-school programming
- Uses technology and AI-powered learning tools to spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and prepare students for a tech-driven healthcare future
- Gives students real exposure to how modern nurses use digital tools, health technology, and data to save lives every day
- Builds health literacy, science skills, and academic confidence
- Addresses real community needs — nutrition, mental health, and wellness
- Partners directly with elementary schools, high schools, and colleges across the Fayetteville area
- Connects youth with college nursing mentors who love learning and think like the future
- Guides high schoolers toward CNA certification and nursing school
- Grows a pipeline of tech-ready, community-invested nurses committed to serving Cumberland County for generations
"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
